THE USB-DMX512 CONVERTER

This interface allows the control of the 512 channels of DMX512 protocol at the same time in entry and exit through a USB port of a PC.

The heart of this USB to DMX converter is a microcontrolor PIC18F452 (Microchip) cadenced at 20Mhz.

The management of the USB datas is carried out by a specialized component FT245BM (FTDI) allowing the communication between the PC and the microcontrolor.

This converter will be powered by PC through the USB connector.
It is strongly advised to use a galvanic insulation, carried out by "DMX Splitter".
