Information the options of the USB-DMX converter

The options #1 and #2:
The option #2 consists to directly use a USB-DLP245BM module while the option #1 will directly use the FT245BM component with different CMS components necessary to its operation. One will obviously choose one or the other option.

The option #3:
This option must be wired; These components will permit the DMX512 data transmision to the lighting equipments.

The option #4 :
This option makes it possible to receive DMX channels and then send them to the PC. To be wired only if you need this functionality.

The option #5 :
This option is reserved for future use and will permit the standalone mode (self-contained functionality).

Bill of material of the USB-DMX converter:

Resistors 1/4W 5%:
-  1 k: R15, R24, R25, R26.
-  100 k : R20.

Ceramic capacitors:
-  33pF : C50, C51.
-  100nF : C14.

Chimical capacitors:
-  1 uF / 10V : C2.

Integrated circuits:
-  PIC18F452-I/P + 40 pins support : U5.

Diods :
-  LED 3mm green : D2.
-  LED 3mm orange : D3.
-  LED 3mm red : D4.
-  1N4148 : D1.

Miscellaneous:
-  Oscilator 20MHz : Q2.
-  ICSP connector - 5 pins - step 2.54mm : JP3.
-  Casing (available on Radiospares - ref : 382-2112).

OPTION #1 - Using the FT245BM component:

CMS resistors - 0805 case:
-  27 : R7, R8
-  470 : R2.
-  1k5 : R9.
-  2k2 : R16.
-  10 k : R17.

Ceramic capacitors - 0805 case:
-  27 pF : C8, C10.
-  10 nF : C3.
-  33 nF : C7.
-  100 nF : C4, C5.

Chimical capacitors - 1808 case:
-  10 uF / 10V : C1.

Integrated circuits:
-  FT245BM (CMS) : U3.
-  93C46 (SO-8) : U4.

Miscellaneous:
-  Oscilator 6MHz : Q1.
-  B type USB connector : P1.
-  Bead ferrite - 0805 case (available on Radiospares - ref : 358-6765) : FB1.

OPTION #2 - Using the DLP245BM module:

Miscellaneous:
-  DLP-245M Module / FT8U245BM (available on Optiminfo ) : U7.

OPTION #3 - DMX OUT:

Resistors 1/4W 5%:
-  0R (strap) : R1, R5, R6.
-  120 : R4.
-  10 k : R3.

Ceramic capacitors:
-  100 nF : C6.

Integrated Circuits:
-  SN75176 (DIP-8) + 8 pins support) : U1.

OPTION #4 - DMX IN:

Resistors 1/4W 5%:
-  0R (strap) : R10, R12, R13.
-  120 : R11.
-  100 k : R14.

Ceramic capacitors:
-  100 nF : C9.

Integrated Circuits:
-  SN75176 (DIP-8) + 8 pins support) : U2.

The other components are not used for the moment...
